Always a favorite, the classic shrimp cocktail is a quick and easy appetizer. It’s a perfect appetizer for any party and event. This Entertaining Shrimp Cocktail recipe contains jumbo shrimp, dijon mustard, green onion, lemon juice and zest, mayo, and sour cream. Dijon mustard, green onions and lemon could create the perfect savory dipping sauce for shrimp cocktail. Have a fun party and enjoy this beautiful shrimp platter 😉

Ingredients:
- 12 oz large or extra large cooked, pre washed frozen shrimps thawed and drained ( you can use a fresh shrimps too )
- 3, 4 washed lettuce leaves
- 1 cup ice
- 1 lemon, sliced
Cream sauce:
- 60 ml sour cream
- 60 ml mayonnaise
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
- 1, 2 stalk green onion washed and small diced
- half lemon juice and zest
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
Directions:
- Thaw the shrimps and drain them.
- In a small bowl mix sour cream, mayonnaise, dijon mustard, diced green onion, half lemon juice and zest, salt and pepper. Stir well and set aside.
- On your appetizer plate place the lettuces and ice on the top. Now spread the shrimps on the ice. Slice the lemon and arrange them all around the shrimps serve with bowl of cream sauce you made.
