Mocha is the word that marries coffee and chocolate. A quick-to-fix frozen mocha drink that tastes like something you’d get at your favourite coffeehouse. But you know what. You can make it at home too. This mocha is really easy to make.
Good luck…
Ingredients:
– 6 pieces dark chocolate, plus more for garnish (I used Laura Secord dark chocolate)
– 1/2 cup milk, heated just to a boil
– 1 teaspoon instant espresso powder
– 1 cup of ice cubes
– whipped cream for garnish
To make:
- Put the chocolates in a blender. Pour the hot milk over the chocolates and add the espresso powder. Place the lid on the blender cover it with a folded dish towel or paper towel held in place with your hand and process at high speed about 1 minute.
- Add the ice cubes and process at high speed for 2 minutes, or until smooth. Divide between 2 small glasses. Top each glass with whipped cream and using a grater, a scattering of chocolate shavings. Serve immediately.
Enjoy 😉
