Dark Chocolate Dipped Mangoes

Rate this post

These easy to make candies are elegant enough to give as a gift or to serve with coffee  and after dinner drinks at a special meal. You can also use other dried fruits, such as apricots, pears, or cookies, and fresh fruits too. I dipped sliced apples and my kids just love it 😉  It’s a perfect snack and party treats too.  If you do these with your kids they will love it and you can have a fun with them too…

Directions:

  1. Put the chocolates in a coffee cup.  Dip mango piece about halfway into the chocolate, allowing the excess chocolate to dip back into the cup.

DSC_01973. As the chocolate is depleted you may need to tilt the cup to coat the last few mangoes.

4. While the chocolate is still warm sprinkle with the pistachios. ( or  make a white chocolate drizzle)

6. The mango pieces will keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.

White chocolate drizzle:

using a rapid back and forth motion, drizzle the chocolate from the tip of a spoon over the confection you want to decorate. You can practice over waxed paper until you achieve attractive, uniform lines of chocolate, then scoop up the chocolate and return it to the bowl or pan.
